Which maps program do you use?
We use Google maps for direct links for GPS coordinates and directions.
How do I know what equipment to bring?
For each location, we provide a list of special equipment you might need. For example waders, broom, walking stick, pano equipment, rain sleeve, tripod, a polarizer, a neutral density (ND) filter, umbrella, hat, or micro lens cloth to wipe down your lens/equipment?
How do I know if the hike is right for me?
For each location we provide a Trail Difficulty rating from 1 to 5 (1 being very easy and 5 being very difficult).
How can I determine where the sun will rise/set?
For each location, we provide a direct link to the The Photographer's Ephemeris. This program provides both time and direction of the sunrise and sunset for every day of the year.
Do you provide recommendations for restaurants?
We share our personal favorites for restaurants or brew houses. Additionally, we provide a direct link to yelp - so the user can see comments and ratings from others.
